Theia Tiles recommends a grout joint spacing of 3 mm. This must be taken into account when calculating the total quantity required. It is the sole responsibility of the installer or project manager to measure accurately and ensure that grout joint spacing is factored into product order quantities. We recommend a minimum of 10% overage to accommodate cutting, breakage, and installation adjustments. If a specific design aesthetic or tile selection is required, we recommend ordering at least 20% overage to allow for tile selection on site. Due to the handcrafted nature of the material, add-on orders should be avoided. Theia Tiles cannot guarantee colour matching between separate production runs. To prevent shortages, installers or project managers should measure carefully and order sufficient overage from the outset.
Theia Tiles does not hold stock. All products are made to order. The standard production lead time is approximately 12 weeks; however, this may vary depending on order volume, finishes, and production schedules. Please consult your commercial contact to confirm current lead times. In certain cases, shorter lead times may be accommodated for specific orders, subject to availability and production capacity. This must be confirmed in advance with your commercial contact. Production time does not include shipping or transit time to the final destination.
Theia Tiles ships worldwide. Orders can be shipped via air freight, sea freight, or land transport, depending on destination, timelines, and project requirements. Shipping costs are not included in the price list. Please consult your commercial contact for a final quotation and shipping arrangement.
We strongly recommend that your installer is present at curbside delivery to inspect the shipment and assist with moving the product to the designated storage location. All orders are insured. Any damages, shortages, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please note that Theia Tiles is not responsible for any costs associated with, including but not limited to, contractor fees, project delays, or denied claims that are not reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Theia Tiles does not accept returns on any product orders, as all tiles are made to order.
Theia Tiles are handcrafted and may vary in size, texture, colour, size. Variations between batches are a natural result of the artisanal production process. As a result, images shown on the website, photography, or sample orders may not perfectly match the tiles supplied in your final order. Differences between sample pieces and the current production lot may occur.

Request that your design professional measures and determines the precise square metres required for the project. We recommend adding a minimum of 10 percent overage to account for cutting, waste, and adjustments.
Clean tiles using mild soap and water only. Never use strong acids or alkaline cleaners. Stains may be removed using a sponge or suitable solvent. Always test cleaning methods in a less visible area first and use the least aggressive method possible to avoid surface damage.
Grout is not required for interior dry areas wall applications, as Theia Tiles are glazed to the edges.
For tile finishes suitable for wet areas:
In humid or wet environments, the use of grout is recommended. The selection of grout and sealants must be appropriate to the specific application and environment.
Ensure that the installation team prepares the tiles correctly prior to installation, Select the appropriate thin-set mortar and grout suitable for the project conditions.
Dry Run: The installer must perform a dry run prior to installation. All boxes should be opened and tiles laid out to blend variations in colour, texture, and size. Tile selection and placement should be guided by you and or your design professional to distribute natural variations evenly and according to the intended design. Proper mixing ensures the best visual result and avoids concentration of similar tiles. The quality of the final installation is directly related to the quality of the dry run.
Upon delivery, tiles should be inspected jointly by you and your design professional. Any damages, shortages, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
We recommend a minimum of 10 percent overage to account for tile cuts, potential shipping breakage, and future repairs.
Grout may not be required for certain interior wall applications. However, for outdoor, humid, or wet areas, grout may be necessary. You and your design professional are responsible for selecting grout appropriate to the specific project conditions.
You and your design professional must be familiar with all technical specifications listed on each product page. If any specifications are unclear, please contact info@theiatiles.com before placing an order.
Ensure that your design professional reviews physical samples of the selected product. Samples provide reference only and may differ from the final production lot.
Allow adequate time for the full project timeline. Standard production time is approximately 12 weeks, plus shipping time, which varies depending on location.
